Overview

AK Resourcing Inc. are currently seeking a Sales Manager for our client in Mississauga Ontario. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the solicitation, processing, and submitting of bids and quotations to both government and commercial entities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain effective Sales Department processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Create annual Sales Department goals and budgets in alignment with the organization’s financial and operational objective.
  • Collect and analyze bid requests and determine profitability.
  • Develop pricing strategies and present recommendations to management.
  • Analyze market data and trends to identify growth and price improvement opportunities.
  • Negotiate, administer and extend contracts as needed.
  • Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers.
  • Process customer orders, investigate and resolve customer issues.
  • Ensure accuracy of bid and customer information in bid database.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, or Marketing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience/management in an industrial setting preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to speak effectively one-on-one or within a group is a necessity.
  • Proficiency in managing diverse projects, activities and responsibilities concurrently.
